AYEUM (Research Methods Education and Application Center)

The Department of Library and Documentation has subscribed to the AYEUM (Research Methods Education and Application Center) database for 2023.

Registration and Access
University staff and students can access the database by logging in individually.
· Staff and students must register to the system using only their corporate email addresses.
· Email extension must be tarsus.edu.tr
After you become a member, a verification code will be sent to your email address and if you approve it, you will be logged in without any problems.

IdealOnline

İdealonline is a database that collects many Turkish books and journals under one platform and offers these resources to readers and researchers.
There are more than 800 academic journals in the Ideal Online database, which contains the current issues and archives of popular journals such as Atlas, Popular Science, How It Works, Capital, Atlas History, CHIP, Hece, Notos, Science and Utopia.
For off-campus access, you can access the “İdealonline Journal” database via the "E-Resources - Subscription Databases" tab on the library home page

Turcademy
Informascope, developed Turcademy- ebooks platform in order to contribute to digital publishing in Türkiye and in order to make this happen, Informascope used its competencies and experiences as results of its long lasting collaboration with leading international publishers. First phase of the project of Turcademy included 12.000 e-books is expected to cover more titles shortly in the collection as a results of ongoing discussions with several other publishers from Türkiye.
Design and technical infrastructure of Turcademy has been completed by local IT professionals/developers and the second phase of Turcademy e-book platform will contain academic magazines with high impact factors published in Türkiye.

Tumer Altas Online Exam Preparation Database
 
We have subscribed to Tümer ALTAŞ Exam Preparation Database for the year 2023. The database has been created for preparation for e-YDS/YDS, YÖKDİL, TIPDİL, PTE, IELTS, TOEFL iBT exams.

  • Utilize your university email address for registration
P.S.: If you have registered in the previous years, you can “log in” with the same account without registering again.

VETİS (Database Access and Statistics System)

With VETİS (Database Access and Statistics System), our users will be able to benefit from all our electronic resources both outside the campus (without setting a proxy) or inside the campus. Our users can start using the system by logging in with their library membership passwords.

How to access databases remotely with the VETİS Off-Campus Access System?

• In order to access electronic resources from anywhere, you must activate your Vetis Off-Campus Access System membership.

• In order to use VETİS, you must have a library membership (if you have borrowed from the library before, that means you have a library membership).

• Our users who do not have a membership must register with their "@tarsus.edu.tr" e-mail address and student number/personnel registration number in the registration section (SIGN IN/REGISTER). (If you receive a warning that you are already registered in the system, click the Forgot Password button to get a new password. If you do not receive password information on your e-mail address, please send an e-mail to: kutuphane@tarsus.edu.tr)

• Our users can access VETİS from the "Off-Campus Access System" section on the left menu of our library web page, or by using the VETİS [Off-Campus Access] link from the menu on the left after logging in with the membership information (username, password) on the library catalog browsing screen. 

Note: The same user name and password are used in the Library Automation System (Catalog Scanning) and the Vetis Off-Campus Access System. However, in order to log on to the Library Automation System (Catalog Scanning), your library membership must be active. This does not apply to Vetis.

The user will be fully responsible for the use that does not comply with the license agreements.
